We are proud and happy to announce that during this year's Forge of Talents 2025 medical innovation competition, organised by the Medical University of Lodz, our RuFus Team took the first place and won the Main Prize. The winning team was made up of the following members:
- inż. Kamila Samolej (Faculty of Physics and Applied Informatics, University of Lodz)
- dr inż. Maciej Ślot (Faculty of Physics and Applied Informatics, University of Lodz)
- dr Agata Bielecka-Dąbrowa (Polish Mother's Memorial Hospital Research Institute)
The team was awarded for developing a non-invasive radio sensor that enables rapid, quantitative detection of transudate in the lungs. This is a solution with enormous implementation potential and importance for medical diagnostics.
