The event was dedicated to issues related to sound and human speech – phenomena that accompany us in our daily lives, but whose physical nature often goes unnoticed. Participants had the opportunity not only to listen, but also to see and experience sound, learning about its properties, nature and applications.
The programme included:
-
interactive shows on wave phenomena and acoustic resonance,
-
experiments explaining the functioning of the human speech apparatus,
-
stands with physical and computer experiments,
-
meetings with scientists and science popularisers.
The event was organised as part of the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the University of Lodz, which underline the importance of community, openness and dialogue with society.
We would like to thank all participants for their active participation and discovering the fascinating world of science together with us!
